A gastronomic event ´Insects on a plate´ took place at the Horský Hotel Soláň last weekend. A five-course menu was prepared by our cooks and chef Mr Pařízek. Selected wines were served to every course of the menu and were accompanied by the commentary of Mr sommelier Alexandr Burda. An exciting show in the form of sabrage was prepared at the terrace, which few bravest guests tried on their own.

Even our fitness centre has undergone changes. The ceiling and walls were paneled in light wood, there was laid a new wooden floor and the audio-visual system is also brand new. We hope you enjoy your exercise and refining your body the more you take!
We welcomed the arrival of the New Year together! Many thanks to everyone who helped to create the perfect family atmosphere and pleasant evening. During the evening magician`s Sebastian show took place and everyone was dancing or listening to the band called Jupiter. For the younger ones there was DJ Honza in the café and there was a program prepared for the little ones - children`s disco. We have built a new playground for children in front of the hotel. All attractions are made of wood, you will recognize it by two Wallachian mares pulling a wooden cart. While the park is currently under snow, it is open to the public and children can enjoy themselves on the slide, the swings in the shape of animals and a small climbing wall.
This year, Christmas at Solan took place in familliar and very relaxed atmosphere. In restaurant there was a high Christmas tree prepared for our guests and a creche underneath. Also, there were Christmas trees and biscuits prepared for each of our guests in their rooms. We hope that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel and recharged yourselves for the New Year!
Robe Lighting ended up their year with Christmas party at Horský Hotel Soláň. We enjoyed the party and we are looking forward to next one!
Our hotel café has been fully reconstructed. The walls have been overlaid with light-coloured wood and on the ceiling there was created a coffered ceiling in a blue colour. More photographs can be found in our photogallery or on facebook.
First snow appeared on the Valachian hills! We are looking forward to the Christmas time!
